Alex Driving School Recommends: (Meeting Point)
It's best to meet at Vicroads - Driving lessons for an overseas licence conversion are best conducted on official Vicroads testing routes following exact testing format for best results. We have a higher pass rate this way.
We encourage all clients to meet at the Vicroads so the entire driving lesson can be conducted on official testing routes where you gain a major advantage to passing the driving test.
It takes around 1 hour to complete a Vicroads testing route during the driving lesson including clarifying mistakes, going over your weak points and a full explanation by your driving instructor. If you cannot make it to your local Vicroads we pick you up from an address of your choice or a local train station.
Alex Driving School Recommends: (Auto Car)
As an overseas driver with a current, valid, full overseas licence you should conduct your overseas licence conversion to Victorian licence in an automatic car as it’s much easier to pass the driving test. Once you pass the test you will be issued a full Victorian driver licence and allowed to drive a manual car. We encourage all overseas licence holders to do the test in auto car as we have a higher success rate this way.
