It is heavier here than in most suburbs, simply because Wollert has so many young families. At the start and end of the day the roads near the schools fill with parked cars, opening doors and children crossing, and we drive them deliberately once you are ready, because it teaches observation better than anything.

The Victorian road rules first, then roundabout give way rules, which come up constantly in Wollert. After that it is the older intersections and heavier traffic nearer the testing office, which is where the preparation is aimed.

It is an excellent place to start and needs the drive south to finish the job. Wide new streets and built in roundabout practice are a good beginning, but every road here is modern, so the older and busier driving has to come from somewhere else.
