About 6.3 kilometres, or roughly 12 minutes in ordinary traffic heading west. Langwarrin is a large suburb, so where you start inside it moves that figure a fair way.

Yes, and at 12 minutes it is perfectly practical for ordinary driving lessons. For drive test preparation we would suggest meeting at Frankston VicRoads instead, or booking a 90 minute driving lesson, so the whole hour goes on the roads around the office.

It is the most demanding road in Langwarrin and the most useful. Two lanes in each direction carrying traffic through the middle of the suburb, with shopping centre entrances feeding onto it, so turns have to be set up well before you reach them and gaps chosen with the speed in mind.

The estate streets away from the main road. Generous blocks, residents only and unhurried corners, and there is a great deal of it, so your driving instructor can pick streets that suit your stage.

They are useful, and not at the start. The quieter roads towards the bush blocks are faster than they look, with fewer signals and longer stretches between turns, so speed control and reading the road ahead matter more. We leave them until the basics are solid.
