Driving Lessons in Dallas for New Learner Drivers
Dallas is small, flat and almost entirely residential, with Barry Road across the top and Pascoe Vale Road down one side. A first driving lesson starts on the quiet streets in between.
From there it builds in an order: vehicle control and observation on the residential streets off Blair Street, then parking between real cars, then Barry Road and Pascoe Vale Road once you are ready for them rather than once the lesson plan says so. Driving lessons are one to one in a small dual-control automatic, which is what most learner drivers now sit the VicRoads drive test in. It is the same driving instructor and the same car right through to test day.
- Complete beginners start on quiet Dallas streets, away from the main roads
- Private one-to-one driving lessons, with nobody else in the car
- Progress at your pace towards your red or green Ps, not to a fixed schedule
